Problem Following Orbit Planner Tutorial
« on: November 07, 2017, 03:10:13 PM »
Hey everyone, I'm fairly new here.

I was following a tutorial from the main YouTube channel for planning a maneuver to the moon.  My problem is that there's a part in the tutorial where you have to hit a "select" button but I don't have one.  I have a "GO" button and the bottom left of the screen has AUTO and COMPUTE which are the same, just no "select" button.

So basically I'm stuck and can't figure out how to go anywhere else in the simulator.

Ok thanks.  Will it be on here or is there a PM feature?

Hi artemisalien,

In short, the "Select" button from previous versions has been replaced by the "GO!" button. The "GO" button applies changes made to delta-V, delta-T, Normal and Radial.

The "COMPUTE" button at the bottom calculates the actual orbit path indicated by the pink path. This is a numerically calculated path that takes into account 3rd body gravity influences. This is the more realistic and accurate representation of the path followed by your spacecraft.

Hope that helps!
