Cassini probe journey
« on: April 16, 2017, 02:29:49 PM »
is coming to an end. On 26 April the Cassini probe will crash into Saturn, it's final destination. This made me think perhaps unmanned probes can form part of the Space Simulator missions? There won't be any controls. Just scheduling the path and watching the planets go by..

Thanks for sharing this.
Some facts about Cassini (that Google told me)
Lanched Oct 15th 1997
Reached orbit around Saturn on July 1st 2004

To get to Saturn Cassini did two flybys of Venus, one of Earth and one of Jupiter.

This will be the end of a pretty awesome mission.
