Thanks ApolloGirl, thats really great news!

One question: as mentioned i use an iPad 2 with 64GB, and a lot of free memory.... so there should be no problems running this sim, right?

Still it crashes regulary, especially when it has to calculate a lot like descending on the moon shortly before touchdown.

I dont have any other apps running in the background, and use the settings of "phone" because when i use "tablet" i have the feeling it crashes even more often..... and i set the grafics to rather low....

Do you have any idea why this could be? Are there any programms incompatible with space simulator which you know of..... or do you know a trick to maybe clear the memory of the ipad even more (in case there is some old data etc)? Any clue what i can do? I would like to have a lunar mission from liftoff till splashdown, but no way...... every time it crashes after some time.....

I would like to send you the debug screen but i cant post a pic here (or at least havent found out how)


Any help would be greatly appreciated

as i mentioned before (and rated you 5-stars) this simulation is absolutly fantastic.... i really look forward to the newest version.

I just hope you will not change it in a way that my iPad2 cannot run it any longer. I have iOS 9.3.5 and cant upgrade to 10 or 11 because of iPad constraints, and i would be really sorry if at some time this great simulation would not run any longer on my pad.

By the way, is the Steam version of the space simulator already out or do you know about how long it might take for release? I just dont want to miss it, looking forward to all the new features (like the real simulated sub-systems etc)

Hi....i will send you a few screenshots tomorrow, and thamks for helping me.

Today i deleted about 6k pics that were on the iPad, and tons of apps....just to be sure its not a problem because too much stuff on it.....it looks like the simulator runs much more stable now, only have crashes now and then....much less.

It works best for me if i close the app after one mission and restart it for the next mission, usually then its pretty stable.
But when i change to a new mission without closing the app the crash chances are much higher, and changing a mission 2 or 3 times results almost guaranteed in a crash

Should i send you screenshots of every option of the debug mode or do some special stuff that will help you figure out the problem?

well.... i completly deinstalled the app and reinstalled it, just to be sure..... still the message shows up "pre-production evaluation copy. Not for release" when you switch on debug info.

i switched to rather low grafic and it seems to run more stable..... was able to fly the Gemini docking with agena vehicle mission... i docked, fired up the agena until i had a good orbit, then decellerated for de-orbit, staged the vehicle until it was only the Gemini capsule left running on program 63 for powered re-entry..... and when i was about 120 km alt the program crashed...

i use an iPad 2 with 64GB, and when i play space simulator i have no other apps running so there should be enough calculation power to run this smooth.

maybe you can tell me some ideas for the config menu so that the game runs more smooth and more stable.

i will send you the screenshots as soon as you tell me how i can somehow attach them here or you give me an email address to send them to.

as for when exactly the crashes occur, i havent kept track yet but will in the future.... i remember with the first Gemini mission it crashed before i was even in orbit, and with the Apollo launch it crashed after achieving orbit but before TLI

ah ok, thank for the quick reply..... too bad it doesnt work for tablets..... by the way, on my iPad2 with 64 GB RAM the program crashes pretty often.... when i set it on minimal grafic it is rather stable but still a lot of crashes.... hope you will have a lot of crash reports at the moment so that you can bring up a patch rather soon..... i love this simulation but at the moment it rather spoils the fun.

Feature Request / space shuttle realistic scale - back to old shuttle orion

i know that you all are pretty busy cleaning 1.07 from bugs and getting it out, but i still have 2 suggestions that you might consider:

1) please fix the scale of the space shuttle in regard to the tank and the booster rockets..... one of those is either much too large or much too small.... thanks

2) the new Orion shuttle looks very "sci fi" and strange to me..... such a flat round thing..... could you please bring back the old classic "2001 space odyssey" orion shuttle..... of course itīs not so new but it is as realistic or unrealistic as the other one, just that it looks really classic

Hope you dont mind my suggestions..... keep on the good work, your simulator is really fantastic!!!

Well....we all know that in reality not everything goes as planned....so i would really love to have the option of aborting a launch.

There were different abort scenarios, depending on how far the launch already proceeded when the emergency occured....

First there was the launch escape tower that could be fired manvually or automatically, then after the first staging and the dropping of the LES the CM/SM would have been seperated from the Saturn and there were different possible landing sites....

It's like the ejector seat of an airplane....i feel that it really should be in any good simulator

Report your Bugs here! / grafik glitch on the Apollo CSM for iOS

Hi....on the iOS there is an annoying grafik glitch at the Apollo SM....on one side there is a square area, looks like some big plating, and on the end of it you can actually see inside of the SM.....and you can see right through the SM as if it was open....i try to attach a screenshot.

The other bug: if you dock your CM/SM to the LM, manually or by automatic, very often the capture is "off angle" and the docking tunnel is way off to the side....doesnt affect gameplay, but looks very odd

hi, thanks for this great simulator..... now to get it even better my suggestions:

- it would be great to have your astronauts get out of the lunar lander and acutally walk around on the lunar surface or even use the lunar rover (something like this seems to be planned for 1.07 as the screenshots of the spacesuit with manuvering units show).

- can you make the movement / view control in the command modules more free? its great to have this 1st person view, but since you are "fixed in position" you cant really have a good look out of the windows, and many dials/instruments on the panels look very distorted because you look at them on a very narrow angle.... wouldnt it be cool if you can acutally move around in the command module and "float" to the window or to the other seats and have a good look at all the instruments?

- lastly, if you were able to "float around" in the command module then you can move directly to the hatch window and have a look outside. At the moment it seems you have made the whole hatch "see through" so that people can have a look outside, but this window was much smaller in older versions, which was more correct i guess....

in the newest iOS version, when you are in "trans" mode RCS (former "linear") then you have a "move forward / move backwards" lever on the left side of the manual control display....but it doesnt work.

first problem is that it does not change your forward/backward speed at all
second problem is that the slider always moves back to the middle / stop position

Is it really broken or do i make a mistake here? Its really nasty to try a docking maneuver when you only have your main engine to use ;-)
