Betatest Area / Steam version Beta Report

Beta Report 3:
=========

1. Much Better working version.
2. Congratulations! you are closer for hitting the jackpot with the checklist procedure.[Now it has an Index, well idea since now the user is able to continue the whole simulation without interrupting the flow of the events, otherwise this might kill realism and immersion].
3. Unfortunately, since not everyone is expert in space exploration missions, we need to consider that many users could get confused because of the checklist Index, since the order in which the checklists are placed is not correct, even myself picked up the second one, thinking it was trans-lunar injection, but unfortunately it was lunar orbit insertion, so even me got confused.[adding certain info link next to each checklist could be useful and educational].
4. In my first attempt to pick the next checklist from the checklist Index , no matter what checklist I click, the only one running is always launch checklist.[this is bad..].
5. Here I post a short video showing some graphic issues [Launching the Apollo 8 scenario found that sky skin map is replaced with ground tiles and some buttons inside the CM are shown black without any texture, weird I know ] and the checklist bug at the end. [Checklist Index won't let you pick a checklist].

Betatest Area / Steam Version Beta Report II
« on: December 04, 2017, 10:04:23 PM »
0. Until now I have tried the default mission [The Starter one], Apollo 7 and Apollo 8 (same results, no advance according to what is shown to the user, checklist and auto pilots).
1. Tutorial 3: Fundamental Orbit inclination. Once appears the sign [we are going to change the orbital inclination to 28 degrees. it shouldn't take long. please wait...] the tutorial stops there and do not advance any more.
2. I am not being able for time skipping during tutorials, not even with auto pilot turned off [Time MFD buttons seemed to be blocked, in missions they work].
3. within any mission I have played, the checklist stops and do not continue for the next checklist.
4. no message is displayed to the user regarding the checklist procedure and why it has stopped. [it supposed to be automatic and continuous].
5. pause menu does not stops simulation in background and some times pressing a key while menu options are displaying may affect simulation or menu settings. [this is dangerous for simulation, since could change ship attitude].
6.  the simulation is not fluent and continuous, since the procedures stops without  following the next steps and no message are shown to the user. [in any case the user is required for any input, there is not any message given the necessary information].
7. if the Complete Apollo mission are to be simulated here, then at least should appear in the checklist window certain count down for the next mission comm, in other words (checklist executions) {what ever it is automatic or manual}.
8. no options for anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering in graphic settings.
9.  needs a keyboard key for showing/hiding top menu.
10. Pause menu should pause entire simulation without affecting the sim running behind.
11. in the Steam site says "full controll support", at least I am using a 360 controller, which is the most used controller for Steam games and it does not recognize the controller for the menus/ navigation, just able to map some keys in controller settings.
12.  Tutorials seems to be for the mobile version and not for this one.
13.  not being able to complete any mission yet, since the simulations do not advance ahead. [once the checklist stops there is no way for choosing the next or another checklist. no message is displayed, no command is given to the user; following the checklists is very important, this is the way how the astronauts did it in real life, by following every procedure in the checklist, so the checklist needs to have all the procedures and to be continuous, so the simulation be realistic ].
14. The sim is oriented to be VR, so once inside the cockpit you will need look around with the help of an analog stick. [other good reason for a complete 360 controller compatibility, even inside the cockpit and for the menus].
15. It would be nice an one click controller Pause/Menu option.

That is everything for now, Thank you.

Feature Request / COAS
« on: September 10, 2017, 08:19:23 PM »
I really love the Docking procedure on space missions, I wanted to know if there will be available a camera displaying the COAS for a more realistic Docking, even with a VR device this could be awesome.

« on: March 15, 2017, 05:59:27 PM »
will it be Gemini missions for the Steam Version? and also can we perform the EVA procedures like planting the flag, collecting rocks and fix some satellites?
