Wow!  Just wow!!!
I can't wait for this to come out.  This is the space sim I have been waiting years for.  Looks like it is going to be better than Orbiter, KSP, and the slew of other low budget stuff out there.

Thank you for taking the time to make it right!

Any idea about a release date?  I can't wait to get my hands on it and do some flights in VR!

Feature Request / Re: Sound: Dolby 2.1 or 5.1 ?

What does the Rift use?  I would assume it is 2.1.  I say release it with 2.1 then when you get time put the 5.1 in a patch/update.

General Discussion / Oculus Rift Support on PC?
« on: December 29, 2016, 02:47:40 PM »
Hey guys,
Just found your software a few days ago.  I must say, this looks awesome!

I was wondering if there is a plan to support the Oculus Rift in the PC version?  I would love to actually be in the cockpit, flipping switches and stuff.  :)

The only reference I found to the rift was over a year old.

I am a huge space sim fan, especially Apollo and Gemini.  I have tried just about all the space sims out there over the years.  Used to play Orbiter, but in my opinion it is too much of a 'do everything' sim.  Too complex in many ways.  I love Kerbal Space, especially with all the real rocket, real earth add ons.  Also, a big flight sim fan, Xplane, Aerofly 2(simply awesome in the Rift), etc.  I used to fly real gliders and a small plane called a KitFox.

Anyway, I have the Oculus Rift CV1, several different joysticks, throttles, rudder pedals, etc.  If you are in need of someone testing out the PC version on the Rift, and provide good feedback, let me know.  I would love to help you guys out with this.  I think it looks like the most promising space sim out there!

Andrew
