General Discussion / Re: Realistic Cockpit Guide

Hi Alex,

For the Apollo launch mission you need to follow these simple steps:
1) hit the "PRO" key to turn on the computer. You will see the screen flash the numbers '0' to '9'. This is part of the test procedure.
2) hit VERB 37 NOUN 11 ENTER. Verb 37 is to change program (major mode). Noun 11 is the Earth Orbit Insertion program.
3) A few seconds after the first stage separates, hit the "LES MOTOR FIRE" button to eject the escape tower.

The rest of the mission is automated. If you'd like to have more detailed info on how the rest of the instruments on the panel worked, this is a pretty good place to start with:

Hi Sailor,

Great question. The crosses are meant to give an indication of deviation from your target rotation and position. The yellow cross should indicate how off you are in rotation and the green cross how off you are in position.

Can someone help me with the docking missions? Launching is ok but can't dock yet...
Hi Tim,

Did you manage to make any progress with the docking missions? In any case, we made another video showing how you can dock when the target is faraway. You can see the video here:

Basically it's a walk-through of the second SLS mission, which is a bit more difficult than the third as the target is further away to start with.

Hope it helps.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your question. I assume you are referring to an older version of the game where the opening scene is the Space Shuttle docked with the ISS. To detach the Shuttle from the ISS simply select the "SHIP" tab and "UNDOCK". To get back to Earth from orbit RETROGRADE your spacecraft and apply the throttle. In the ORBIT panel you will see the orbit altitude decrease. For the final landing you will need to use the manual controls. Hope that helps.

Hi Tim, there's a beginner's tutorial for SLS video that we just made here
It's really just a beginner's guide showing you how to use the DOCK MFD, and the COPLANAR, DIRECT and STOP buttons.

If you find that video too easy, we're planning to make another SLS rendezvous/docking video with a more complex setup that'll involve extensive use of the RETROGRADE/PROGRADE buttons.

If you subscribe to our youtube channel you'll see all the latest video updates.
Let me know if you have any doubts.

Hi Lucas,

Thank you for your post. At the moment we do not have any plans to alter the pricing structure of the game. We may consider doing a lite trial version to test device compatibility but that is not yet a concrete item on the agenda. Thanks!

Hi Spacemercedes,

Welcome to the forum.

Right now the game is closed to external content and plugins. For now we want to keep the game consistent and easy to deploy. Having said that, in the long term we may very well consider the idea of opening the game up to third party content if people show enough interest in that direction. For now though, if you are interested in making artwork for the game please PM me to discuss options.

Feature Request / Re: Screenshots

For the next version v1.0.6 there will be a facebook button to grab the screenshot and post to your wall. Otherwise as Dreex has suggested you could simply use the on button and home button, or Android equivalent, to get it.

General Discussion / translations

Hi everybody,

As you may know we have implemented general multilingual support in v1.0.6 to include English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic. We would like to see if there is anyone out there who might be interested in helping us work on the translations for the various flight control displays buttons we have in the game?

If you speak any of the above languages and would like to get involved please get in contact!

Hi LeoLey,

Thank you for getting in contact.
The first v1.0.6 apk is now ready for testing. I emailed you the test link earlier this morning so you should be able to test on all of your devices using the gmail account you provided.

Please note that this build is a 'test of concept' build that is really only meant to see if we can get past the splash screen on the nexus devices. Once we resolve this issue we can start getting feedback on the new game features.

Hi Cyril,

Welcome to the forum!

Yes we're working on that as we speak. The reference guide is scheduled to be released with the Steam PC/MAC version later this year. The reference guide will be accessible in game as well as an external printable document. If you're interested we can sign you up for beta testing for the Steam version when it's ready?
