Thanks ApolloGirl, thats really great news!

One question: as mentioned i use an iPad 2 with 64GB, and a lot of free memory.... so there should be no problems running this sim, right?

Still it crashes regulary, especially when it has to calculate a lot like descending on the moon shortly before touchdown.

I dont have any other apps running in the background, and use the settings of "phone" because when i use "tablet" i have the feeling it crashes even more often..... and i set the grafics to rather low....

Do you have any idea why this could be? Are there any programms incompatible with space simulator which you know of..... or do you know a trick to maybe clear the memory of the ipad even more (in case there is some old data etc)? Any clue what i can do? I would like to have a lunar mission from liftoff till splashdown, but no way...... every time it crashes after some time.....

I would like to send you the debug screen but i cant post a pic here (or at least havent found out how)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Michael

@Kmassie92 will keep you updated on next iOS beta when it's ready.

@MichaelEggert Space Simulator will still work on iPad 2. The iPad 2 is still one of our main targeted devices. The only one we're considering future support for is the iPhone 4.

@Marz13 Welcome back to the forum!

I'm finally back on the message board, yea. I left to start a guild on a new mmorpg, and Forgot my password!   It took a couple of tries but I got it reset.
And now I can see the new posts and pics. Awesome.  Really looks good, way to go. 👍🚀

General Discussion / Re: STEAM! PC , Mac & Linux version

Jcarrion can correct me if I'm wrong, but he is still working on it.  I get post from him from time to time showing his process.
Steam has abandoned the Green light process for starting new apps.
I'm not sure how this effects Space Simulator.
The Steam version might have been able to lanched before now and then patched later to improve it.  For whatever reason it would seem Jcarrion has elected to reach a fuller level of completion before release.  He is the one working on the project and having to weigh the pro's and con's of the when and how of release.  Ultimately the chose is his, and I'm ok with that.

as i mentioned before (and rated you 5-stars) this simulation is absolutly fantastic.... i really look forward to the newest version.

I just hope you will not change it in a way that my iPad2 cannot run it any longer. I have iOS 9.3.5 and cant upgrade to 10 or 11 because of iPad constraints, and i would be really sorry if at some time this great simulation would not run any longer on my pad.

By the way, is the Steam version of the space simulator already out or do you know about how long it might take for release? I just dont want to miss it, looking forward to all the new features (like the real simulated sub-systems etc)
