hi. Yep , that bug has been for awhile on certain ( very rare) orbits,  Fixed on 1.0.9 ( soon to be released)
you have iOS or Android ?

I mean , the android version ( slightly more modern than the iOS one ) has this bug fixed.
on the iOS we will wait to the next release.

Betatest Area / Re: Steam version: Text to Speech Not Working Since Jan 23

I'm using Windows 7 on both of my PCs. So it's no TTS outside of win10 or is there something I can install to have TTS in Win7?

Frankly it may not be the best move to use the integrated TTS anyway in case this software is planned to be ported to Linux in the future... ?

Or could you leave an option for us without Win 10 to use the old TTS (perhaps download it from you server if steam do not want to distribute it)? I was perfectly fine with the old TTS except for that I would prefer a male voice over female for Apollo.

Report your Bugs here! / Unexepected prograde to retrograde orbit

In 1.0.8, using your "SLS block I launch from KSC" scenario:
Launch azimuth is 110°, and once in LEO we have an eastward trajectory (prograde), which is fine.
Now, in Orbit planner, I want to align the orbital plane with the moon's one. I increase DeltaT until the spacecraft is positionned west of Australia, at the node intersection, ready to burn in Normal direction.
Problem: when I click on GO! (with or without Normal burn), the orbit instantly switches to a Retrograde one!
Apparently this happens each time we increase DeltaT until the spacecraft position changes of hemisphere.
In the same manner, after an intial prograde LEO and TLI burn, we can get a Retrograde orbit to the moon!!!

Hmmmm ,interesting...
We had to remove the old (as in December) text -to-speech as Steam complained that under certain circunstances the wav file created may look funny and triggered some alerts.

So we had to use the windows 10 native text to speech engine( with no distortion ,etc btw)

Which OS did you had? Does your computer has texttospheech installed ?

Thanks

Since yesterday the text to speech functionality stopped working, I just hear the beeps. Turning the "Spoken checklists" option off and on in the config/audio has no effect.

Hi I just experienced this bug now so I don’t know if it’s significant or a problem but I was in earth orbit starting around  700 kilometers up with the space launch system in custom missions Doing a decent and re entry and then abut half way towards earth there was an audio bug It made the sound you hear when you start launch with Apollo spacecraft then it sounded like I was using my throttle but I wasn’t

Feature Request / Re: Inclination
« Last post by jcarrion on January 23, 2018, 02:25:26 AM »
hello jcarrion,

Just to be clear: equatorial/equatorial inclination is one thing, bearing is another one (90° bearing starting at KSC will result in a 25° orbital inclination). I was speaking about inclination (as probably you too in the parameter dialog), not bearing. To my opinion, switching inclination sign in the dialog (and allowing -180 to +180°) would be enough for a start...
yep , of course. What I was referring is that -currently -  instead of "inclination" , it should say "bearing". -both being equivalent only if your starting position is on the equator.

For next version , I ll create both ways of defining the orbit . Either the inclination (in degrees, relative to the equator ) , and in Degrees of bearing ( as it is now  -wrongly defined as inclination), defining the starting bearing of the spacecraft
