Nice pic

However,  when ever I have been in the pilots seat not that often

The artificial horizon  represents the angle of your wings

in the pic this is in reverse  ????

Nice to see the update out

Hi,

I Guess you could take a few liberties

and do an X37

there is no known control set for it so do what would work

with an airlock connector in the payload bay

Hi,

when are the 1.01 and 1.02 updates likely

what you posted previous said 26 March

no sign yet - Have you skipped a version in favour of the latter and hence the extended time ?

this is mainly so I don't bug you about bugs that are bugs no more

Please advise

Hi,

Well not sure where both sets of switches are to set - Looked at an apollo instrument panel image - butI am  not an apollo pilot

However I did break it again - lol

and a question / observation

ran A11 Ep4  simply staged after startup

ran the program as you said  and yes auto dock works well - however I can't work out how the translation  from below - S-IVB booster works

looked at the quad thrusters and can't see  whats happening ? if you were to do this manual  again how would you do it ?

also is there a reverse thrust switch or control

and if using the cockpit full view is it possible to see the capture target and which window should I look to see it

So I then undocked  left it a few secs so gained some distance  power up left controller

and well you can get an interior view of the S-IVB as you pass through it  see screen   ( you fly all the way through it )

do you need some  capture parameters  as it should really have gone bang

Let me know

Hi,

"Simply not cost effective to tutorialize (sp?) every missions"

Thats not what I was suggesting You only really need some simple  manoeuvring tutorials  so people can develop control

whats the point of free flight if all you do is spin out of control - you want to pilot the ship

would It be possible to set up CM  - LM  say 30 feet apart  for docking (with the wrong rotational orientation )  - and the same again for the shuttle ISS may be a bit further out  but not miles

and some other basic control stuff flip 180 degrees rotate 90 degrees etc (doing this first )

you know your sim  keep it simple but instructive with a progression from whats previously been learned

"let alone in diferent difficult levels"

I think I did not got  across what I meant about realism

In preferences have 3 settings  easy normal hard

in its most simple form the easy reduces the control input buy an amount (input - 60)

with less for the normal

and full control for the hard

it might take a bit of time to code but it will be worth it to keep people engaged

When did you last play a game that only had a legendary setting - and how long would you use it if it did ?

Would Microsoft ever have sold the numbers of copies of Halo if all you did was die in legendary

Simple gameplay - thats all

You do want people to buy add ons don't you?

They won't if they have already given up

There was a brilliant pc game back in the 2000's  Delta Force 2

The graphics were only ok the Ai was a bit off but the gameplay online was - so good !!!!!!!

a bit like modern warfare 2

I think you have a danger of missing that out if you not careful

Its your product  so tell me to keep this to myself if you disagree - but I really am trying to help you with something that I feel has really big potential for space fans and others if got right

Hi, Yes  on the main panel yellow/black protected

Guess chute would fire and prob if reached end of the lines bounce back and hand down from the CM or just hang there

and for my other post don't forget am a bit behind the world with only a iPad 2 64 Gb and iOS 7 . something as no point in 8 on my device

Hi,

I think this is a possible Physics glitch -  For a fix as time allows

While I accept that I pulled two switches I may be should not have

sep and chute

Its not so much that the chute deployed,  but well would it? However, after that I floated down to a big bang - but I floated as if I had a working chute in atmosphere

if I was around the moon  I would have hung around for ages even after a seperation

Hope it helps

Feature Request / Re: Any new features you would like for 1.0.3 ?
« on: March 29, 2015, 11:00:08 AM »
Hi,

Hard to say

Need to see 1.0.1

then 1.0.2

and they not yet available? i won't say late as I don't know the process but its beyond stated dates

But without that knowledge

Quite simply a solid structured tutorial system

with the possibility to have the really world physics  reduced  to say three levels

Rookie -   reduce or dampen the controls to 20-30 percent unlimited fuel -  so that the fine touch needed for the full sim is reduced to a learning level

Pilot - almost full physics  say 60 percent  increased fuel  almost there

Astronaut - 100 percent controls  fuel limits  the full deal

The tutorial is needed soon  in fact before any request for other features - check the reviews on the app store

You risk losing the people who want this to work

You have the basis of a very dam good product - with huge expansion and as a developer additional revenue to keep it all going

But unless you fix the the basics first - how you use the product - you will lose people fast

And I for one don't wish that for you

Paul

ps if you were to have realism settings like above  all the tutorials need to be playable at each levels  so people can improve or find there level of the sim that works for them it will help to keep them engaged

In free roaming

got the following screens

checked the log and can't see this a fixed yet?

Additional

As this is a sim  you need to give people more intro / instructions

I understand the wiki is in the next update

but people will very quickly get fed up of not understanding how to do stuff

I enjoy space etc but an no expert at any level - Why I would not review a sim I don't have the skills to judge

However, if you look at

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3r1zVk1-O4

if you look at 114 mins the the Lm assent stage is very controllable  - now that could just be 200 hrs in a sim to get that from a test pilot

but are there switches that need to be set to allow appropriate reverse action reaction control on try to move the module ?

if i want the module to move through 90 degrees - in manual i have to cancel that action - with the controls as is its not that possible to cancel an action  you inadvertantly

add additional motion  in to the correction

maybe adding a non historical control dampener  that limits the actual thrust given to the control system even though it does not in a large way affect the joystick control

am trying to he helpful from a basic user stance  yet I think you would benefit from some serious apollo geeks that can tell you from a knowledge standpoint

and I guess from the legacy principal if you get apollo control systems sorted all the rest will just fall into place

just an opinion from a basic user

hope it helps

Hi,

Have taken a screen now - and just need find the way to get to my laptop - lol  Just not that much iOS me but as now got a pad trying to figure it out

In the shuttle approaching the Iss - is there what looks like a ground track on the earth - not sure this is a glitch or the fact I only have an iPad 2 64Gb ? iOS 7.1.2

post screen asap

would blue tooth controllers ever be an option as they have physical joysticks ?

also the yaw controller left hand stick is quite hard to use often puts thrust in at same time  don't know if this kills authenticity but as you have buttons spare could you have a yaw only that locks out thrust ?

Paul

ps I only wish i could fly this well  it is going to take me an age to master if ever
