Realistic Cockpit Guide
« on: July 13, 2016, 07:37:07 PM »
I try to fly my missions from cockpit view, as realistically 1st person as possible. Is there any documentation for available interactive cockpit controls and their basic usage?

For example, in the Apollo missions, other than the AGC commands stated in the description of each mission I don't know any other controls I can use.

Hi Alex,

For the Apollo launch mission you need to follow these simple steps:
1) hit the "PRO" key to turn on the computer. You will see the screen flash the numbers '0' to '9'. This is part of the test procedure.
2) hit VERB 37 NOUN 11 ENTER. Verb 37 is to change program (major mode). Noun 11 is the Earth Orbit Insertion program.
3) A few seconds after the first stage separates, hit the "LES MOTOR FIRE" button to eject the escape tower.

The rest of the mission is automated. If you'd like to have more detailed info on how the rest of the instruments on the panel worked, this is a pretty good place to start with:
