flying from one planet to another planet
« on: December 21, 2014, 10:51:25 PM »
Hi, jcarrion!

I really enjoy playing space simulator IOS!! How do I point the spacecraft to the planet so I can fire the rocket engine to get to the other planet say from earth to mars? Thanks!

                        Cheers,
                  Vincent

hi vincent, i'm thierry, i know you are the other beta tester.  If you have one ancient version of late 2014, there is a button left top where you access to a orbit screen.
I have changed orbit, position of the spacecraft, and  i think the solution is here but i don't understand all things, especially the green trajectories. have you tried this ?

Hi, thierry!

No, I haven't tried the green trajectories, yet. I'll try it out! Thanks!

hi vincent, this is how i do it.
when i am on the surface map, i go from left to right side of the moon, then i go to the orbit screen top left, and i change the degrees with the finger, 100 degrees and more, i click on apply, uplink and the modification is done. when i am on the surface map aganin, the spaceship is going from south to north.

but i couldnt choose a planet as target. One time, can't recall the version, i had ISS as a target designated, and i was activating thrusters to make a rendez vous, but i can't find the mission anymore.

i changed my orbit from earth to saturn but impossible to land on saturn, when i try to tune the inclination, one tap on screen makes 4 degrees, that is too much to be at the right place. tha rings are visible.
