Hello,
my points from the beta test are following:
(1) The newest update (today) places the first mission (full pre-launch) at dawn, but the time shows 12:50 pm.
(2) When I move my view to the top of the cabin (holding right mouse button and moving the view to the very top) what sometimes happens is that the view starts slowly moving down by itself and the only way to reset it is to go to the external view and back.
(3) I believe the view should be limited when inside the cabin so that one does not see outside the cab. This happens also during the checklist auto - you see through the back wall during some of the checklists steps - kills immersion a lot.
Of course, many checklists and missions do not seem to work as expected, but I presume this will be fixed.
Annoyances:
(a) there is a lot of shadow flickering of various switches when moving your view throughout the cab, impacts immersion a lot. If we could turn off shadwos for the elements causing this it would be great.
(b) A lot of sounds (especially engines) do not have very good loops and some contain a lot of crackling. If you can advise how to extract the sounds I could try to make better loops/remove the crackling.
(c) The Moon has a rather yellowish/brownish look while I believe it should be more monochrome (grey). The mobile version has a more geyish Moon, not sure why the Moon color was changed and do not believe the representation in the steam version is accurate.
(d) I don't see any graphical settings for resolution/fullscreen. Additionally - do you plan any settings for anti-aliasing? Especially on the Moon the level of terrain flickering is rather high. I set my own in the nvidia control panel, it's much better, but not quite perfect.
(e) Are you sure the CM's windows were covered by such a high level of condensed water? This effect looks cool, but I dont believe the astronauts' view was so much distorted by water droplets across all the window surfaces all the time...
(f) The Earth's atmosphere as seen from the orbit has sometimes some hilly look inside it. Interestingly it appears only for certain places, others are perfectly crisp. If needed I can upload a screenshot of what I mean. I know that the same thing appears in the mobile version, but perhaps it's just more apparent on a big screen...
And one additional suggestion: please think about changing the TTS voice to a male. Think it would be more appropriate for the Apollo program.
