Inclination

Using custom scenarios in Orbit mode, the indicated inclination is counted in retrograde direction. So to put our spacecraft in a simple prograde equatorial orbit, we must put a 179° inclination value in the parameters. Would be more logical and natural to use direct prograde values (0 for a 0° inclined orbit on equator). Plus, the max. value is presently 179 (and not 180), so a pure equatorial orbit is impossible...

well , the range -180.0 +180.0 will be fixed in the next mobile beta release ( too busy now with the Steam launch , )

The term inclination also can be a bit misleading.. as it refers to the bearing of the spacecraft (.i.e.  if you set long/lat coordinates at the pole ,all orbits would be with an inclination of +/-90 degrees, yet still you may want to select the orbital plane.  "Inclination" parameter selects the planet base "bearing" of the spacecraft the position selected.  Probbably we should enable both  methods (bearing and/or  orbital inclination ) in the next mobile release.

Just to be clear: equatorial/equatorial inclination is one thing, bearing is another one (90° bearing starting at KSC will result in a 25° orbital inclination). I was speaking about inclination (as probably you too in the parameter dialog), not bearing. To my opinion, switching inclination sign in the dialog (and allowing -180 to +180°) would be enough for a start...

yep , of course. What I was referring is that -currently -  instead of "inclination" , it should say "bearing". -both being equivalent only if your starting position is on the equator.

For next version , I ll create both ways of defining the orbit . Either the inclination (in degrees,relative to the equator ) , and in Degrees of bearing ( as it is now  -wrongly defined as inclination), defining the starting bearing of the spacecraft
