well ,the thing is that most of the new functionality ( all the switches, etc.. ) are using the mouse (dual left-right buttons ) . There is not an obvious way to add that to a tablet.

What we are indeed planning is somehow letting the mobile versions to use the on-demand-downloadable terrain imagery , to get those super-crispy terrain look of the desktop version.
BTW , did you get that email about beta-testing the Steam version?
